He began his football journey in Nkawkaw, engaging in the Red Bull Ghana developmental program. Notably, Dwamena’s prowess shone during the International Tournament in Croix, France, in 2013, where he contributed to RB Ghana U17’s silver medal victory and earned the title of Best Player.
Having trained with FC Red Bull Salzburg in Austria alongside David Atanga, Dwamena officially joined Salzburg’s youth team in January 2014. His impact was swift, winning the Golden Shoe for scoring seven goals in four games during a June tournament. Subsequently, he progressed to FC Liefering, the Salzburg farm team, making his professional debut in July 2014.
