Saudi Arabia stunned football fans after defeating Argentina 2-1 in Group C of the FIFA World Cup, which was played on Tuesday, November 21 at the Lusail Iconic Arabia Stadium.

Argentina’s match became so cheap, especially after Lionel Messi converted a penalty spot into a goal against Saudi Arabia in less than 10 minutes at the halftime break.

The Saudi team never gave up and came back stronger in the second half to score past the South American football giants to tie the score on 48 minutes courtesy to a goal scored by Al-Shehri.

The Green Falcons held Argentina with their Jericho wall tactics to play counter, allowing Al-Dawsari to net a goal to make it (2-1)

Argentina led the possesion with 70% and played 15 shots only 6 on target whiles Saudi has only 3 shot, 2 on target.

As a result, Saudi Arabia ended Argentina’s 36-game unbeaten streak in the World Cup opener.

Argentina is the most decorated team in Group C, and it was expected to easily defeat Saudi Arabia, one of the 32-nation field’s lowest-ranked teams.

The master tactician Herve Renard is behind Saudi team to beat Argentina 2-1 at the Qatar World Cup.
