The preparatory work on the tomb where late Christian Atsu Twasam will be buried is nearly completed.
The late former Black Star player’s body arrived at the Forecourt State House Accra on Friday, March 17, 2023, where his former teammates filed pass to pay their last respects to the remains.
President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akuffo-Addo, and his ministers also paid their respects to the late Newcastle star at the funeral grounds.
The most heartbreaking part was when his wife and children were seen arriving at the final funeral rites ceremony, indicating that something had fallen into their eyes
However, Atsu’s tomb was built at his ancestral home Dorgobom in the Ada West District of the Greater Accra Region, where he will be buried.
Below are the photos and video of how Atsu’s customized tomb was built in his home town.
