Shatta Wale has expressed his excitement to Ghanaian journalist and women’s empowerment advocate Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum on her Guinness World Record mileage.
Afua Asantewaa, CEO of GOWA Awards, dominated online after announcing her participation and approval from GWR with the goal of breaking the record for the longest singthon by an individual.
Her goal is to break the record with a minimum time of 117 hours and a maximum time of 120 hours.

Sunil Waghmare of India is currently holding the record, having sang for 105 hours from March 3rd to March 7th, 2012.
Shatta Wale is one of the few celebrities in Ghana who has rallied behind her courageous decision to go for gold in order to shatter the record by the Indian.

In reaction to the news, Shatta Wale took to Facebook to extend his support noting that while he is unfamiliar with Aduonum, he would like to attend the singthon event, which is set from the 24th to the 27th of December.
Meanwhile, model Afua Asantewaa Aduonum was born in Kumasi to Ghanaian parents Mrs Christiania Obuobi and Mr Obuobi. She is married to Kofi Aduonum and has two siblings.
