Sister Derby also known as Sister Deborah has spoken out about her performance with her ex-boyfriend Medikal at London’s Indigo O2 last Friday.
In an interview with YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon, the model reveals that she ‘flew to London purposely to support her friend and sweet-Ex Medikal’.
According to Sister Derby, her support for Medikal came after the rapper invited her, but she originally wanted to perform with him because they had a song together.
When questioned if her performance with Medikal could get them back together, Sister Derby claims it is not possible, adding that it is not the first time they have shared one stage by playing at multiple events following their breakup.
“Why and how should i go back and date Medikal because he’s having issue with Fella? You see the boys that actually think that way are the one who actually wish they are the ones dating me. So they rush into such a conclusion. But the truth is that, if you think about it we’ve performed together after our break up before at Sowuotuom. Sister Derby refuted claims that she exchanged words with Medikal following their split, stating that the intent of her ‘Kakalika Love’ song was to inform her fans about the exact cause of their divorce.
She emphasised that Fella Makafui has not caused her any harm, and that her song is simply a message to other women, advising them not to fight over a man they are dating because it is not their fault.
