Ghanaian celebrated artist Stonebwoy has added another milestone to his career by winning Best African Dancehall at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) 2024.
The singer beat Shatta Wale and others to win the highly coveted Jamaican award on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Centre in the United States.
Stonebwoy now has a long history of winning the category twice in his career, extending back to his debut on the event.
His first nomination for the award occurred in 2016, when he was named the Most Promising Artiste of the Year.

However, this year’s edition of the 41st IRAWMA show saw different singers and industry stakeholders present to commemorate excellence in reggae and world music genres.
In other news, Stonebwoy delivered a stunning performance at the closing ceremony of the All 2023 African Games, which took place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

During his arrival at the event, the Burniton music boss was spotted with Nigerian artist Odumodublvk, with the crowd cheering on them.
