Asamoah Gyan has reacted to the Black Stars squad, rallying his support behind the team after Otto Addo announced his 26-man squad for FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has been linked to a possible return to the Ghana National team following a comment he made some months ago during a BBC interview.

The former prolific striker and Black Stars’ all-time leading scorer received harsh criticism for making such a remark, claiming that he has not officially retired from football and that he may require additional training to be included in the squad for the Qatar World Cup.

According to him, Ghanaians should not criticize the Black Stars team, but those in the camp and being shortlisted will need extra prayers before the tournament starts.
“Everyone have shared his or her opinion about the BLACK STARS. 26 man squad is out now so what we have to do now is to support those in camp now. “If u have any comments, wait till after the first game of the tournament. But for now, let’s pray for the team to deliver,” – Asamoah Gyan shared
