Ghanaian renowned boxer Ayi Michael “Ayittey Power” Okine, also known as Ayittey Powers, has made a shocking statement about how late Nigerian prophet TB Joshua’s poster miraculously saved his life.
Speaking with Giovanni about the poster, Ayittey Powers tells that the poster from Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), founder, saved him from being stabbed by his girlfriend.
The former WBC International titleholder emphasises how his girlfriend, whose name is unknown, showed up at his house unexpectedly while he was with his ex-girlfriend.
He emphasises that the girlfriend missed her bus to Kumasi, forcing her to spend the night with him, which he (Ayittey) was unbothered about.
According to Ayittey Powers, his agitated girlfriend threw a bottle at him in an effort to stab him, but she froze when she saw TB Joshua’s poster on his wall in the room.
“His poster that I have in my room has been doing wonders. Initially, I used the poster to celebrate his one year, but something told me to open it in my room.
The wonders the poster has been doing in my room, I won’t finish if I start talking about it. I’m not married, but I have a girlfriend.
“One day my ex called me that she had come to Accra, and it was late, so she couldn’t go back and wanted to sleep at my house. I immediately called my girlfriend to confirm whether she would come that night, and she said no.
“While we (he and his ex) were there, my girlfriend showed up. She wanted to hit my ex in the head with a bottle, but anytime she tried, she froze,” he recounted.

Ayittey Powers is an ardent follower of the prophet, claiming that the latter’s passing hurt him more than the death of his mother and father.
He also expresses shock at the abrupt death of JB Joshua, the cause of which is still undisclosed, and sends his condolences to him.
“Sometimes when I reflect on his death, I realize that God works in mysterious ways. How could Prophet TB Joshua die at that age? He called me to visit his church, and I planned to go in two weeks, but he passed away before then.
“He mentioned he wouldn’t celebrate his birthday, and we didn’t know he was going to die. We discussed many things together. So, TB Joshua’s death pains me more than the death of my mother and father,” he said.

Ayittey Powers, famed for his boxing skills and serial punches, has started his first boxing promotion, “Powers of Fist,” with the aim of revitalising the sport and preparing the country’s boxers for international crowns.
During his time as a professional boxer, Powers had an amazing fighting record and had fought his compatriot and fellow boxer Bukom Banku.
