Thomas Partey has explained why he has been battling injuries since joining Arsenal in 2020.
Partey missed only seven games during his lengthy spell at Atletico Madrid, but he has already missed 39 games in three seasons at Arsenal.
In an interview with London.Football, the Ghanaian international explained that his bad luck with injuries is normal when adjusting to a new league.

“Well, I think it’s adaption. If you go from a different league, normal things happen,”- Partey said.
The 30-year-old midfielder added that he is working and stated that currently, he is in good shape to help the team.

“I am working on everything, I am trying my best. I am trying to help the team any time I can. When I am ready and fit, I will be ready to help the team.”
Thomas Partey joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid on transfer deadline day for a reported fee of £45 million, making him the most expensive Ghanaian of all time.
He recently scored in his first start since suffering a muscle injury in February. On Saturday, March 4, 2023, his tribute goal to the late Christian Atsu inspired Arsenal to a 3-2 win over Bournemouth.
