Ghanaian international and Arsenal star Thomas Teye Partey has announced his forthcoming football competition dubbed Thomas “Partey Tournament”.
Speaking about his maiden scouting tournament, which will take place from December 2nd to 5th, 2024 at Accra’s Tuba Astro Turf park, Partey states that, it’s will be organised to discover talented footballers in Ghana.
He emphasises that he, his agents, and some elite scouts will be in Ghana for the event to select and promote local football talents .
“It’s that time of the year where young talented Ghanaian footballers need a platform to showcase their talent”
“From the 2nd to 5th of December, my agent and top scouts from eight European teams will be in Chana to scout the best talent” — he said in a promotional video
Partey adding more details and reason behind the tournament, he said “this is for the motherland, let’s discover and celebrate our future stars”.
Meanwhile, Adade, a Sunyani-based football club, is among the teams who have been confirmed and will be participating in the Thomas Partey Tournament.
