A Chinese company and its CEO have gone viral on social media after distributing 180 million yuan (US$26 million) to employees at his company, sparking a huge debate online.
According to report by the South China Morning Post, Cui Peijun, a prominent businessman and the boss of Henan Kuangshan Crane Co., Ltd., gifted the workers with significant end-of-year incentives to help them in alleviating their hardships, despite their salaries.
The annual ceremony held on 13 February distributed over 60 million yuan (US$8.7 million) in cash bonuses following the company’s remarkable profits of 270 million yuan ($39.15 million).
A video that has been circulating on the internet shows over 800 banquet tables being set up to accommodate around 7000 guests.
In the clip, several staff were shown counting cash spread across huge tables, while others held bundles of notes in their arms on stage.
Others were captured barely holding all of the money after being called on stage to receive and take their awards home.
During the gala, the boss Cui Peijun even called out to the finance department on stage and ordered him to ‘give out’ 20,000 yuan (US$2,800) to the workers.
He reveals the rationale behind his demeanour toward his employees and others. Peijun claims to reduce the burden on individuals who owe car loans and mortgages.
“It is not that I love giving out money, it is that young people are burdened with car loans and mortgages and any relief we can offer helps” – Cui Peijun he said.
Many online users have reacting to the video have praised him for his warm gestures to others and his unwavering support for staff members.
Cui Peijun is best known for his entrepreneurial skills and philanthropic works earning himself respect and admiration from fans.
Many called him ‘the boss who loves giving out the money the most” due to his frequent practice of giving out cash rewards and benefits to staffs.
Report has it that, the Henan Kuangshan Crane company generated a massive profit margin of around 270 yuan in 2025, implying that nearly 70% of its profits were shared among its 7000 employees.
Peijun currently holds around 98.88 percent of the firm shares, which was established in September 2004.
Kuangshan Crane specialises in the manufacture and service of cranes and material handling systems, and its operations reach over 130 countries worldwide.
