Social media discussions suggest two main reasons for Shatta Wale’s no-show which includes; a performance price dispute and past controversy.
Some reports claim that, Mr. Quaye was unable to meet Shatta Wale’s reported $600,000 performance charge resulting in his exclusion from the lineup.
Others believe that Richard Nii-Armah Quaye deliberately excluded Shatta Wale because of his past controversy and insults on Dr. Kwame Despite, a close associate of the businessman.
Rumour has it that Shatta Wale reportedly rejected $500k for his involvement in the event, with the report adding that the dancehall star insisted on anything less than $600k.
