Serena, a Ghanaian woman who was one of the victims of Yaysteslav Trahov’s serial videos, has finally spoken out after appearing in the Russian man’s escapades.
In an interview with Naana Donkah Arthur aka NDA, Serena denied all allegations of any improper encounter with Yaysteslav, claiming that their videos were edited.
According to her, she never had an affair with the Yaysteslav, despite the footage showing her sneaking into the YouTuber’s apartment.
She claimed that her interactions with content creator were business purposes after introducing herself as a real estate agent.
Serena explained how they first met, saying Trahov approached her at the ShopRite in Accra while she was paying for her items at the counter.
She emphasized how Trahov asked for her phone number after the Russian asked her to find him a low-cost property to buy because he is new to the country.
“I am a real estate agent and had scheduled a meeting with a client at the mall, but the client did not show up despite my waiting for several minutes. While there, I was approached by a Russian man, and we had a brief conversation during which I mentioned that I work in real estate. He requested my contact details, which I shared. — she said.
Serena indicates that, she left the scene immediately when the conversation changed after joining the content creator in his room.
In her mind, she believed she had found a potential client who was willing to do business with her after disclosing her work.
“He invited me to his apartment to continue the discussion. However, upon arrival, the conversation shifted away from anything professional, so l chose to leave immediately. Nothing inappropriate occurred between us at any point”
She continued “The videos circulating online have been edited and do not accurately reflect the situation; they were manipulated to fit his narrative”
Serena also revealed that she had no idea Yaysteslav had recorded her until she discovered it on social media, prompting her husband to file for divorce over infertility claim.
“My husband is now asking for divorce after seeing my video with the Russian man which has also caused a great devastation to me and my family”- she concluded
