Napoli president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, is rumored to have sent an email stating that you would need €200 million to purchase just one of Victor Osimhen’s feet.
This revelation of Napoli president over the new price tag and cost of Osimhen’s feet was initially reported by L’Equipe, where the publication suggests that de Laurentiis requested an expensive money to contemplate selling star striker Victor Osimhen to Saudi Arabian clubs.

During the summer, Al Hilal from the Saudi Pro League made a substantial bid, reportedly offering up to €200 million for the Nigerian forward, but Napoli turned down all formal offers, with de Laurentiis refusing to let go of Osimhen, despite the tempting bids.

According to L’Equipe, the Napoli president allegedly responded to Al Hilal in an email, saying, “For €200 million, you can only buy Victor’s feet,” emphasising his unwillingness to part with the 2022/23 Serie A top scorer for that money.

Laurentiis further stated in the email that he will respond to Hilal’s call only if they present an offer for approximately €500 next year, rather than this season— “maybe. Next year I guess you’ll be ready to offer €500m and maybe we will consider your bid. Again, maybe” — the email says.
De Laurentiis appears poised to continue rejecting future bids for Osimhen, as he mentioned in the purported email that he would only consider an offer above €500 million.
Osimhen scored 26 goals for Napoli last season, helping the team win the 2022/23 Serie A title and becoming the first African to earn the ‘Caponcannoniere,’ also referred to as the Serie A golden boot, in the 125-year history of the Italian top flight.
