Netizens have reacted to photos of Burna Boy that have surfaced on the internet, with the singer stealing the show with his Burberry custom at the just-ended Met Gala 2023.
The multiple award-winning artist made his debut at the 2023 Met Gala, one of the biggest fashion and fundraising events in the entertainment scene.
The event, which traditionally holds every first Monday of May, had its 2023 theme as, ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’ honouring the late designer, who died in 2019.
Burna Boy was seen at the event wearing a Burberry Blue and Black suit, alongside his colleague Tems, who was also spotted wearing a black and white dress.

However, Netizens responding to pictures that went online praised Burna, while some chastised him for taking out all the glory happening in his musical career without giving Shatta Wale credit.
They believe Shatta Wale should be respected because it was the dancehall musician who paved the way for Burna to become who he is today.
