Ghanaian comedian SDK Dele has said that, he will feature Shatta Wale on a remix to his trending song titled “Cameraman” despite a lot of artists reaching out to him to jump on it.
This comes after the comedian released a skit mimicking South African “Amapiano” musicians, not knowing that it would lead to his singing career.
The song “Cameraman” piqued the interest of music lovers globally, who encouraged him to continue working on it in order to release the official version.
Speaking on Hitz FM SDK revealed the rationale behind the song, claiming he wanted people to laugh, but it took a different direction after going viral on the internet.
“I’m overwhelmed, I was just doing a skit for people to enjoy and laugh. But when I did it, the pressure was coming in to release the song,” he stated.
The popular skit maker shared that, there are numerous musicians who are willing to got featured on the song.
“Some musicians were calling me to jump on the song. They were many……..That’s Shatta Wale,” he revealed.
SDK further stated that out of the many musicians who reached out, he settled on Shatta Wale.

Explaining his reason to the presenter, he said,“Funny enough, when I did the song, he was the only artist who danced to the song, made a video and shared it on social media, sent me a DM praising me and giving me words of encouragement. Even if it’s a remix come home and let’s do the song.”
The “Cameraman” hitmaker shared that he and Shatta Wale are yet to jump into the studio to work on the remix. “We are now about to work on the song,” he shared.
