The traditional elders of Breman Essiam in the Central Region of Ghana have enstooled Afua Asantewaa, a Singathon famed entrepreneur, as the ‘Nkosouhemaa’ also known as “The Queen Mother of Development”
On Saturday, July 27, 2024, she was honored with the title ‘Nana Afua Asantewaa Anomatewaa l’, which reflects her outstanding accomplishments, growth and impact in Ghana’s media Landscape.
She took to social media to announce her new title and share photos of herself during the ceremony held in Cape Coast.
In the photos, Asantewaa is seen dressed like a queen mother in her Ghanaian Royal Dress, which includes traditional Kente, for the ceremony.
“I am grateful for the honor bestowed on me by the people of Breman Essiam in the central region which also happen to be my hometown. Today marks the beginning of an exciting, progressive and challenging task that lies before me as the Queen mother of development in Breman Essiam. I am now Nana Afua Asantewaa Anomtewaa I (the first)” — she captions the post.

Asantewaa delivered a message at the ceremony, emphasising the importance of participation in her Guinness World Record Singathon event.
She also inspires women by encouraging them to stand on their feet and show off their hidden talents no matter the circumstances.
‘I am happy to be here because of my Singathon attempt; without it, none of you would have noticed me even if I existed. I encourage all married women and mothers to be on their toes and pursue their hidden talents” — she concluded.

This remarkable feat comes a few days after Asantewaa spends an enormous amount of money to buy a brand new Ford F-1 50 car costing more than $80,000, as reported earlier by Hellovybes.
Her new expensive purchase sparked a lot of discussion when she was first spotted cruising in town after flaunting it on social media.
