Many people are confused and frustrated by the new rules imposed by Twitter’s new CEO, Elon Musk, while a string of celebrities oppose the $44 billion takeover from Jack Dorsey.

However, A search for @realAmberHeard as of Thursday’ showed the movie star’s account was being deactivated and missing.

It was unclear why Amber Heard shut down her account, with some Twitter users suggesting she may have wished to avoid the backlash from her defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Others asked if having her ex-boyfriend in charge of her social media account made her reconsider staying—according to daily mail 

Heard and Musk began dating secretly in 2016, and made it public with their relationship a year later.

In February 2018, reports emerged that the pair had split for good.

In related news, Elon Musk has fired all Twitter workers in Ghana as part of a major move since becoming the company’s CEO. 

According to sources, the layoffs are not limited to Ghana, but are happening all across the world, as reports indicate Twitter is now losing large sums of money on a daily basis, the amount of which is presently unknown. 

However, one year following the company’s arrival in Africa, Elon Musk sacked nearly the entire Twitter staff in Ghana. 

The layoff comes barely three days after Twitter staff in Ghana reopened the Africa offices.
