Controversial Ghanaian critic, Bongo Ideas has taken to social media to claim that none of the children of late Christian Atsu, who was laid to rest today, resemble him.
According to him, the late former New Castle star could’ve married a local Ghanaian woman instead of marrying his German wife, Marie-Claire Rupio.
“It’s worthy to note that none of Christian Atsu’s kids look like him. Maybe, he should have married locally” – Bongo said
In a tweeter thread, Bongo Ideas also claimed that Atsu marrying a white woman isn’t a problem, but only if none of the children’s pictures or complexions resemble the late Black Stars player.

“Marrying a while lady is not necessarily bad, but not when none of your kids took after you in terms of complexion or look. How will they be identified?”— he concluded
In response to his post, netizens flocked to ask Bongo Ideas to stay out of trouble, arguing that the footballer is no longer alive and that he should speak positively about him.
