Black Sherif Becomes The First Ghanaian Artist To Reach Over 200 Million Streams On Boomplay

Black Sherif keeps traveling as he achieves again another milestone on Boomplay with 200 Million streams

The Konongo born and raised talented artist who made his mark in the industry with First Sermon and Second Sermon in 2021 has received another golden Plaque from Boomplay after racking up over 200 million streams on all of his songs uploaded on the music streaming platform.

The release of his song ‘First and Second Sermon’ catapulted him to African stardom, as he climbed at No. 1 on both the Boomplay Ghana and Nigeria charts.

In September 2022, Black Sherif became the first Ghanaian artist to reach 100 million streams on Boomplay, and the leading African music streaming platform honors him with the Golden Club plaque.

Black Sherif clocking over 100 million streamsmade him join some of the top African music Golden Club such as Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Diamond Platinumz, Simi, Rayvanny, Fireboy, Omah Lay, Joe Boy, and others. Blacko has become another shining light in Ghana’s music industry.
