Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif has responded to dancehall artist Shatta Wale’s recent criticism over his outfit choices.
The response comes when Black Sherif took to his Snapchat story to mock Shatta Wale during a question and answer session with his fans on the microblogging app.
Blacko posted Shatta Wale’s photo, which shows the singer dressed in an all-white jacket and a multicoloured t-shirt with a red bandana, as well as a red sneaker and yellow sock.
When a fan asked Black Sherif if he’d recognize him if he passed by, he humorously replied with Shatta Wale’s photo, captioning it “I plaster everywhere,” hinting at Shatta’s flashy and colorful look.
Fans quickly picked up on the joke, interpreting it as Black Sherif’s playful way of addressing Shatta’s previous comments.
Shatta Wale’s critique of Black Sherif’s outfit came during an appearance on the Bants Rants and Confessions podcast.
During the program, Shatta commented that even though Black Sherif has some good outfits, overall, his style isn’t on par with Nigerian artists like Asake and Rema.
