Ghanaian rapper Samuel Frimpong popularly known as Medikal has dominated online in recent weeks as a result of his sold-out show at the O2 in London.
Since selling out O2, the rapper has been involved in a number of issues, notably with presenter MzGee and UTV employees.
Medikal’s most recent hot news involves Asake, where he claims to be wealthier than the Nigerian Afrobeats musician.
This comes after a fan, believed to be a Nigerian, jabbed Medikal and told him to stop bragging about why he doesn’t respond to those who don’t have money but he is yet to be internationally recognised.
The fan’s statement comes in response to Dremo’s diss song Sarkodie, which led MDK to quickly respond him.

“Ghana artistes chatting about achievements is a funny move. The biggest artiste in your country will have to battle with a new cat like Asake if it’s by number of achievements. Stop yapping on Twitter and get in the booth” – he wrote
In response to the post, Medikal quoted a tweet from a Nigerian fan who was attempting to denigrate Ghanaian artists because he believes Nigerian musicians are far more highly recognised, including upcoming ones.
Medikal admitted in the post that he completely agrees with the Nigerian fan’s assertion, but he is richer than Asake, that is why he will not respond if Asake diss him in a song.
“I totally respect what you are saying but Asake no get money pass me” — Medikal replies.

This bold claim from Medikal appears to anger Nigerians, who are sharing their various thoughts on the post, which has currently garnered over 120 comments as the time of reporting this news.
