Shatta Wale’s 2019 yellow Lamborghini Urus has been seized by the Economic Organisation and Crime Office (EOCO) in connection with crime-related issues including US Crime Proceeds investigations.
This comes as EOCO, in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the United States Justice Department, confirmed in an official statement on Tuesday, August 6, 2025, that the luxury SUV car was confiscated from the musician’s Trasacco Valley residence, revealing that it was stolen in the United States.
According to EOCO, the seizure was in response to a 2023 request from US authorities as part of a larger investigation into financial crimes involving Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving a seven-year jail sentence in the United States.

They indicated the luxurious car was believed to have been purchased with the funds from convicted Nana Amuah in a form of romance scam.
Shatta Wale reportedly cooperated with officials throughout the operation, despite first expressing concern about the public aspect of the seizure, citing damage to his brand as a result of supporters witnessing the vehicle confiscated.
The security service emphasised that the “On God” singer eventually handed the car voluntarily. However, The seized Lamborghini is currently in EOCO’s custody.

EOCO says it will share its final report with U.S. authorities as the case progresses.
