Ghanaian dancehall star, Shatta Wale has reacted to his ‘godfather’ Kofi Boat and Dad Joe’s arrest following their extraditions by Interpol and the FBI.
The singer in a live video session with Firestick, stated that he had already been searched and investigated by American security services following the shipment of his Rolls Royce from the United States.
The singer emphasised his hard work and source of wealth, claiming that he made it entirely from the music industry.
He refuted widespread claims that he engages in fraudulent activities as the reason of his financial success.
The FBI is not stupid; I know they have already searched my Rolls Royce. I made all of my money from music; come and let me show you. It is not fraud; it is my hard work and dedication. I have been dealing with legal business, not the other way around,” he states.
Shatta Wale’s current comments come after several critics called for his arrest over his association with Kofi Boat.
Kofi Boat, a rich businessman, is currently in police prison facing multiple charges, including $100 million fraud, money laundering, and a romance scam, together with three accomplices.
He has been accused of being the ringleader of “The Enterprise,” which operates outside the country by scamming other notable individuals.
