Afua Asantewaa, a Ghanaian journalist, has said that every individual on the planet needs Shatta Wale in their lives.
Her comment came after Shatta Wale, one of the artists, threw his support behind Medikal at O2.
The dancehall artist and other musicians gingered the Indigo O2 with a massive performance.
Many Ghanaians, including music fans and celebrities, voiced their excitement about Medikal and the other artists who had the auditorium choked.
However, in a Facebook post, the sing-a-thon star expresses how Shatta Wale’s presence and influence are considered to be valuable as well as beneficial to human life in general.
She then praised Medikal on his recent achievement, having sold out O2 with his “Medikal Live in London.”
Nonetheless, Afua Asantewaa expressed her delight with Ghanaian musicians rallying their support to themselves to sell out bigger venues, as other African artists do with ease.
“Everyone needs a Charles Nii Armah Mensah in his or her life. Congratulations Medikal. A lined up shows such as this featuring a tall list of Ghanaian artists is approaching” — she said.
