Fashion critic Firestick has slammed Ghanaian musicians Shatta Wale and Medikal, accusing them of being beggars who wear inauthentic outfits for public appearances.
The criticism comes after Shatta Wale’s choice of clothing at Hon. Ursula Owusu’s recent 60th birthday celebration, with Firestick claiming that Shatta’s outfit was fake.
According to Firestick, per Shatta Wale’s status in the music industry, he should have opted for higher-quality clothing at such high-profile events.
He advised the dancehall star to hire a proper stylist to elevate his fashion game for public shows and appearances.
The fashion critic further alleged that Shatta Wale’s public reconciliation with media personality Andy Dosty at the birthday event was financially motivated, claiming that both stars were influenced by money offers by Ursula Owusu.
Firestick who is also former Boxer suggests that the reconciliation was staged to deceive the public for political gain.
Additionally, Firestick addressed Shatta Wale’s recent public gesture of kneeling before former President John Mahama, accusing the musician of using it as a tactic to solicit funds from politicians ahead of the upcoming elections.
Firestick’s statements doubting the authenticity of Shatta Wale and Medikal’s public personas generated a heated controversy online, with many fans disputing his claims about the duo.
