Controversial Ghanaian gospel musician, Broda Sammy has chipped in his concerns about the current economic woes in the country and how it is affecting personal relationships.
Speaking with Giovanni Caleb on Showbiz 360,, he noted that many women have turned to “hook-up” as a means of coping with the financial strain in the country.
“A lot of our ladies have turned to ‘h00k-up’ because of the economic hardship in the country. For real,” Broda Sammy stated.

According to him, in the past, there was a tendency among women to express love within the context of romantic partnerships.
However, women have now placed financial benefits over emotional connections to make ends meet which is also a necessity.
“At first, if you wanted to propose to a lady, you could tell her ‘I love you’ and she would reply with ‘I love you too’.

Now, if you tell a lady, ‘I love you’ she would reply with ‘My phone is damaged, give me money to fix it’,” he explained. “Nobody has time for feelings again,” he explained.
