‘I almost joined an occult group before I met Bullet’ - Wendy Shay

Wendy Shay speaks about her musical journey and her encounter with occultism, claiming that if it hadn’t been for her current manager, Bullet’s interaction, she would’ve dabbled in it.

Wendy Shay shared her experiences with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, stating that she was on the verge of joining occult group before meeting Bullet when she returned to Ghana from Germany.

“Around 2020 or 2021, I wanted to discover spirituality for myself”, Wendy Shay said during the interview dated on September 28, 2023.

Wendy Shay explained that she had not investigated occultism during her spiritual journey.  She had initially contacted her grandfather, who had extensive knowledge in such matters.

Wendy Shay claimed that she had considered occultism but changed her mind after meeting her current manager, Bullet.

Before signing her to Rufftown Records, Bullet suggested they go to church together. He believed that for her star to shine, she had to share his spiritual convictions, which he characterised as being grounded in the light of Jesus Christ.

This experience with Bullet, according to Wendy Shay, changed the course of her spiritual journey.
