Seasoned Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson has yet again shared the obstacles she faced while trying to set up her dream schools.
According to Yvonne Nelson, she exhausted all her funds during the construction of her ‘Yvonne Nelson International School’, and was for some reasons unable to secure loans from the bank.
In wake of that, she had to sell her house and other properties to fund the building of the schools.

“We just started primary school and this is just phase one. We are going to continue and go higher. It is really crazy because, at a point, I am getting personal now.
When we started the project, I had to sell my house because I went to the banks for loan and the percentages were, look, it did not make sense.
So, I had to fall back on a house and sold it. I had so many memories there but I said to myself, Yvonne, this is the only way, so I sold the house, started the building, the money got finished and I had to dig into my savings,” she detailed.

Yvonne Nelson added that she is unperturbed with all the obstacles she’s faced because she’s hopeful that the school is going to be impactful and raise future leaders for the country.
“Regardless of all the challenges, my heart is in the school project and I know we are going to go to lengths that will surprise us.
I know that a lot of future leaders are going to come out of the school,” she added.
