Ghanaian actress Pascaline Edwards has spoken about her past struggles as she discussed her spirituality in the Ghana film industry.
Pascaline said on the last Saturday episode of UTV’s United Showbiz program that she became paralysed during a movie shoot.
Because of her previous experience, she believes that the level of spirituality in the Ghanaian film business among actors and actresses, as well as producers, is unrivalled.
“You’d be surprised if I tell you about the spiritual part of our work. I was paralysed at first, but God saved my life. I had an accident last year, and if it hadn’t been for the grace of God, I wouldn’t have survived.
She continued “The level of hatred in the film industry is ridiculous, and even people who play roles in movies breed hatred among themselves by attacking one another spiritually. I quite remember when I had uncontrollable running stomach when a script was given to me onset”.
She also mentioned that there are things going on in the industry, but most of them are keeping silent because gatekeepers will block you for being too vocal about them.
“The industry is facing several difficulties that need to be addressed, but when you say it, they will blacklist you all because of the small concerts that we feed on. For the actress we are most loneliness people on the earth because we have so many issues but can’t discuss them with each other — she said.

The 54-year-old diva’s comment came when discussing legendary musician Okomfour Kwadee’s current state, with many claiming that he is under a spell.
The rapper best known for his smash hit song ‘Ofie Nipa’ was found in a viral video performing for fans on the street, and his appearance seemed not to appeal to fans and music enthusiasts.
Some argue that industry leaders should remain steadfast and come to his rescue once they learn of his plight, preventing Ghanaians from losing an exceptional talent.
