Kuami Eugene’s lookalike has swiftly changed his name after the Lynx signee warned him for abusing the privilege given to him by the singer.
As previously reported by hellovybes, Kuami Eugene issued a strong warning to his lookalike in an interview claiming that the doppelgänger is overstepping his boundaries.
According to him, he first gave him permission to ride on it, but it appears that he and other lookalikes impersonating other popular Ghanaian artists are abusing the privilege as a result of loud complaints about the disruption these imitations are causing.
“In those days people used to dress and act like the superstars they admire but I never saw one of them going on stage to go and perform his songs.” he said.
During the interview, Rock Star cautioned his lookalike that he would regret parading himself as a fake version of Kuami Eugene.
In response to the warning, Kuami Eugene’s lookalike born Stephen Abrokwa but widely known as Junior Rockstar has changed his name to avoid the stress and insults from Ghanaians who are ridiculing him and other impersonators imitating other musicians.

When addressing the matter with his TikTok followers, the now-turned musician explained that he now goes by the name as ‘Steve Quam’.
During the Q&A session with his TikTok followers, he also pledged never to perform Kuami Eugene’s songs again.
He also confirmed recent reports that he is exploiting Kuami Eugene’s brand to charge event organisers to perform at their events.
