IShowSpeed, a popular American content creator and online streamer, has visited Ghana as part of his “Speed Does Africa” tour, following trips in Benin and Nigeria. He arrived in Ghana early on Monday, January 26, 2026, with a large audience waiting for him at Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
The US YouTuber was welcomed warmly with a cultural presentation and accompanied by almost ten convoys that paraded outside the KIA premises to highlight Ghana’s growing attraction as a destination for global digital creators.

He was also accompanied by a large number of riders, who excitedly added to his presence by demonstrating motor skills.
IShowSpeed’s African tour, which began on December 29, 2025, included 20 African countries such as Benin, Nigeria, Senegal, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Angola, and Eswatini, among others.
Before travelling to Ghana, IShowSpeed, who is of African descent, visited Benin Republic and examined the sacred shrine and other traditional places.

He also saw his ancestors, attended masquerades, and visited the Amazon Monument, where he participated in live cultural presentations with Benin ladies and warriors to learn about their history and traditions.
His journey to Nigeria marked a significant milestone, as he celebrated his 21st birthday after reaching 50 million subscribers on YouTube.
During his visit to Ghana, IShowSpeed was hosted at Accra’s Independence Square, where thousands of Ghanaians attended live programs.
GoldBod Jewellery, known for its monumental items, also provided a fitting setting for IShowSpeed, with showrooms reflecting the country’s rich heritage and modern style.
He went to the Asenema waterfalls in Akropong, Eastern region of Ghana for traditional cleansing, where he was covered in white and resting on a bed while being massaged by women.
