Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has offered some piece of advice to Upper East Region and Bolgatanga-based artiste in a recent video.
In the video, Shatta Wale reveals that his five-months abstinence from weed smoking has had a good impact on his life and musical career.
He maintains that, his decision to quit using marijuanna during that period of time enabled him to have a clean head and stay focused on his work.
The ‘On God’ singer’s message is to encourage new budding artist to avoid harmful substances to enable him navigate the hurdles of the music industry and achieve long-term success.
“I smoke alright but about five months now I have not smoked weed. I know people will not believe me. It’s just cigarette that I smoke now,” – as quoted by pulseghana.
He also encourages them to prioritise their health and career development while also considering the benefits of a sober lifestyle.
“Sometimes you need to quit certain things and focus on yourself. But the tramol and those things, don’t take it because I have boys who took those things are condemned now,”
