Trending Ghanaian gospel music group, Team Eternity, has yet again lost another member known as Nhyira Marfo Okyere who happened to be a lead singer for the viral group.
This comes just a few months after Kevin Kwesi Adiamah, a vibrant member of the group gave up the ghost last year 2023.

The vocalist’ demise which occured on Wednesday 7, 2024 was disclosed by a close blogger to the team, Zhikay Ike Junior in an interview with GhanaWeb, a popular Ghanaian news outlet.
However, the cause of Nhyira’s death is yet to be made privy to the general public as the family is counting their loss.

Fans and music lovers are currently awaiting an official statement from the group and Nhyira’s family for further details and are at the moment expressing their condolences during this difficult time.

Meanwhile, Team Eternity Ghana group are best known for their 2024 blockbuster hit single “Defe Defe.”
Despite the fact that the group did not win an award for their song Defe Defe at the 25th TGMA, one of their members, Kofi Karikari, was named the Male Vocalist of the Year.
The group was recently involved in a dispute after Hallelujah Voices’ Executive Producer Kwame Mickey ‘Defe Defe,’ accused them of song theft and copyright infringement.
