Kanye West’s Lawyer has noted how the rapper might lose his children as a result of his anti-Semitic comment about Jews, which could also cause him a devastating blow in his career.
The popular chicago rapper, who is now involved in a contentious custody dispute with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, said on Tuesday (November 1) that his former lawyer had warned him that making incendiary comments could cost him custody of their four children.
“On my last and final meeting with Bob Cohen, he told me ‘if I keep up anti-Semitic rhetoric you’ll loose [sic] custody of your children,’” Ye wrote on Parlor, the conservative social media platform he purchased last month, per AllHipHop.

“So let me get this straight If I complain about Jewish business practices it’s considered antisemitic. So, my custody lawyer was basically telling me if you complain about getting done wrong in business you will lose [sic] custody of your children, and this was the guy on my side.”
Kanye West was dropped as a client by high-profile divorce lawyer Cohen (who is Jewish) last month after the rapper threatened to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE” in a since-deleted tweet. Cohen was the sixth lawyer to cut ties with Ye in his protracted divorce from Kardashian.
Kanye, on the other hand, is still represented by Beverly Hills attorney Nick Salick. According to TMZ, Salick is currently negotiating a custody and property settlement agreement with Kardashian’s attorney, Laura Wasser. If an agreement is made, a December trial could be avoided.
