The public dispute between Ghanaian forex trader Bright Kojo Onipayede, popularly known as Kojo Forex, and an X (formerly Twitter) user identified as Nathaniel has continued to attract attention after both parties exchanged fresh allegations and conflicting claims on social media.

The online disagreement intensified after Nathaniel, whose X username is @MrNathaniel_69, called on the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to investigate Kojo Forex.

His comments came amid heightened public discussions surrounding the widely reported Abu Trica FBI and extradition case, which has generated significant interest in Ghana.

In one of his posts, Nathaniel alleged that Kojo Forex had presented himself to EOCO and claimed that some of his vehicles were reportedly being seized. He added that he hoped the matter would be handled through due process and that the truth would eventually emerge.

The claims quickly gained traction on social media, prompting a response from Kojo Forex, who rejected the allegations and described them as false and defamatory.

The forex trader subsequently shared a series of posts indicating that he intended to pursue legal action against individuals he believed were spreading misinformation about him.

Kojo Forex Claims Critic Has Been Arrested

In a post shared on Thursday, July 23, 2026, Kojo Forex claimed that Nathaniel had been arrested over what he described as defamatory publications.

He urged social media users to avoid sharing unverified information and suggested that there could be legal consequences for making false allegations online.

Kojo Forex also referenced a reported GH¢5,000 reward linked to efforts to identify Nathaniel. However, there has been no official confirmation from the Ghana Police Service or any other law enforcement agency regarding an arrest or any reward connected to the case.

The online dispute has sparked widespread debate across X, with several influencers and social media users weighing in on the matter.

Some supporters of Kojo Forex shared posts calling for Nathaniel to be identified, while others questioned the credibility of the claims circulating online.

Media personality Serwaa Amihere also reacted to one of the developments, further increasing public interest in the ongoing social media exchange.

Nathaniel Denies Arrest Claim

Nathaniel later dismissed Kojo Forex’s claims, insisting that he had not been arrested and remained active on social media.

He challenged Kojo Forex to provide evidence to support the arrest claim and criticised those who had accepted the allegation without independent verification.

Nathaniel also questioned why some public figures appeared to endorse the claim before confirming the facts, maintaining that he would continue defending himself against what he described as false narratives.

The back-and-forth between Kojo Forex and Nathaniel has generated mixed reactions among social media users.

While some believe the matter should be resolved through the appropriate legal channels, others have urged both parties to refrain from making unverified claims online.

As of the time of publication, there has been no official statement from EOCO or the Ghana Police Service confirming Nathaniel’s alleged arrest or providing details of any ongoing criminal proceedings related to the social media dispute.
