While trying to access the YepBit website its usually says:

According to affected members, the platform attracted new investors with promises of cryptocurrency trading opportunities, market signals and consistent returns.

Participation reportedly required an initial investment of US$500, with many believing the platform was trustworthy because withdrawals had previously been processed successfully.

However, confidence quickly turned into panic after withdrawal requests began remaining in a pending or “under audit” status for several days.

One investor shared a withdrawal request dated July 28, explaining that support representatives initially blamed delays on a backlog of transactions.

Another investor claimed to have submitted a withdrawal request later that same day but said no payment had been received despite repeated assurances from customer support.

Jonathan Brook Claims YepBit Funds Have Been Frozen

On July 30, a message attributed to Jonathan Brook, who identified himself as the founder of Fidelity Capital Investment Group (FCIG), was circulated among YepBit members.

In the statement, Brook speaking about YepBit exchange scam allegation in the stamtent claimed  that YepBit’s operating license and business qualifications had allegedly been suspended following a large number of complaints and that all investor funds had been frozen pending what he described as an investigation by Australia’s securities regulator.

He urged investors to remain calm, trust the process and avoid panic.

Brook also encouraged users to register on another investment platform, describing it as a compensation programme designed for loyal supporters to continue trading.

Independent verification of Jonathan Brook’s statements has proven difficult. According to reports, Australia’s Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has previously listed YepBit Exchange on its investor alert register, stating that the platform does not hold, and has never held, an Australian Financial Services Licence.

This has raised questions about claims that an Australian licence had been suspended.

Financial crime experts also caution investors against transferring additional money or personal information to any new platform promoted as a replacement or compensation programme, noting that similar tactics have been used in previous online investment scams to obtain further payments from victims.
