Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur has slammed his critics after some comments regarding his performance at Nigerian artist Davido’s Away Festival at State Farm Arena in the United States.
The former ‘GroundUp’ Chale signee was one among the performers at Davido’s sold-out show at the State Farm Arena which seats 21,000 people.
Following his performance, many were unimpressed and shared their thoughts on a video that emerged online showing Kwesi Arthur performing on stage at Davido’s show in Nigeria.
Some ridiculed the “Grind Day” hitmaker, stating he performed for “two people,” due to audiences not responding to or relating with his songs and performance on stage.
Others accused him of being the cause of the audience dispersal since he sang at a low tempo song till his performance was ended.
His followers encouraged him to stay off social media and to avoid any trolls who were forced against him after accusing him of being a “finished artist.”
However, in the midst of various viewpoints, Kwesi Arthur quickly took to social media to address the issues, claiming to have performed even though the auditorium was empty.
This comment from Kwesi Arthur has sparked a debate on X Platform formerly known as Twitter among fans and music lovers.
