Rubiales handed the trophy to Levante’s 2023 captain, Vicente Iborra, before their match against Real Zaragoza on March 31.

Allegations of corruption emerged, including leaked documents and audio files involving Rubiales and Gerard Piqué related to commissions for the Supercopa de España in Saudi Arabia.
