Mayorkun, a Nigerian singer, has filed a N1 billion lawsuit against Nickie DaBarbie for defamation after accused him of being a ritualist.
Hellovybes previously reported that Nickie DaBarbie alleged in a video that both Mayorkun and Skiibii intended to exploit her for a money ritual.
The brave Tiktoker was seen in a self-recorded video revealing how the aforementioned artists had been kept in hiding for many years.
Many assumed it was all for the cameras, but an enraged Mayorkun sues Nickie DaBarbie for defamation.
In the lawsuit posted on social media, the artist states Nickie caused him ‘financial loss as well as emotional trauma’ as a result of her terrifying video and comments that circulated online.
In a letter, the ‘holy father’ crooner asked the dancer to take down offensive material from social media within 24 hours.
Nickie was also instructed not to make disparaging comments about Mayor, who refuted all of the allegations levelled against him.
Mayorkun, however, demanded that Nickie pay N1 billion in damages and issue a formal apology to him on the same platforms where he believes she caused harm to his reputation.
