Medikal has sold out his concert at the Indigo O2 Arena in London, making him the latest Ghanaian musician to achieve this feat.
Despite being a rapper, Medikal’s consistency in the industry and connection with the Afrobeats genre, which is currently dominant around the world, have been major factors in his success.
Several African artists have left an indelible impression on the international Afrobeats industry by selling out large venues such as the O2 Arena and Madison Gardens in Western countries.
Among these notable venues, the Indigo O2 in London has had a significant impact on Afrobeats artists. Medikal has already reached a significant milestone by successfully selling out his big venue of 2750 seats.
Medikal joins the ranks of Ghanaian artists who have previously performed at the the Indigo O2 (indigo at The O2) including Amakye Dede, Sarkodie, Fuse DG, Shatta Wale, KiDi, and Kuami Eugene, among others.
Medikal Live in London, which takes place on May 3rd, 2024 at the Inidigo O2 in London, will also feature performances by Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, JayBhad, Eyfa Nokturnal, and many other musicians.
Even though many people were concerned about the cost of the Early Ticket, Floor Standing, and Kings Row tickets, which ranged from £22 to £55, the platform sold out completely.
Medikal shared this just hours before his event. The rapper excitedly took to social media to announce that all of the tickets had been purchased by the audience, who were ready to witness his historic event.

He expressed his profound gratitude to them for making his dream a reality through their steadfast support by showcasing his talent to the world at his debut concert in London.
The Beyond Kontrol boss also shared a video of himself posing for a photo, with the message “Medikal Live in London” soldout written on his back.
