Mohbad was best known for his singles Ponmo, Feel Good, KPK. He died at the age of 23 years old born on June 8, 1996 in Lagos. Imole made his debut in the Nigerian music industry in 2019 and signed to Niara Marley’s records label “Marlians” and left the label in 2022.

He went on to release couple of songs but 2022 saw him grab two nomations at the 2022 Headies as the “Producer of the Year” and Best Street Hop Artist.
Controversies
It’s worth noting that Mohbad has recently been embroiled in a number of issues. He and four others were arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in February 2022 in their flat in Lekki, Lagos, for possession of prohibited substances such as MDMA and cannabis.
Videos circulating on social media showed NDLEA agents violently entering the musicians’ Lagos home, and witnesses claimed that the arrest was carried out without search warrants and included maltreatment of the Marlian artists.

Cannabis and molly were then discovered in their flat and automobile. Mohbad, Zinoleesky, and the others were later released by the NDLEA.
