A 7-year-old wedding video of MzGee has resurfaced few hours after officially announcing her divorce from former husband Raymond Acquah.
The footage dropped online after ther news of the media personality’s separation from ex partner went viral on social media.
MzGeez on Thursday February 27, confirmed the end of her 7-year marriage with Raymond, a journalist who is best known for his unique and detailed oriented story-telling and currently working with JoyFm.
In announcing her divorce, MzGee claimed that Raymond is not the father of her baby whom she welcomed on January 13, 2025 because they separated in 2023.
The cause as to what led the pair to breakup is still unclear however MzGee emphasizes that she no longer wanted to associate with her husband’s surname, Acquah.
“My ex-husband is not my child’s father, we divorced two years ago” — MzGee clarified in a video posted on her social media pages.
However, a video of MzGee’s 2017 wedding with Raymond Acquah emerged online causing a frenzy among fans online.
In the footage, celebrities and fellow presenters including TV3’s former news anchor Israel Laryea, and Nana Aba made their appearance at the lavish wedding
The couple had a beautiful garden wedding with MzGee rocking in wedding gown while looking gleeful as she said yes to Raymond Acquah.
Then groom, Acquah was spotted wearing all black suit and shared a warm hugs with MzGee after they locked tongues together to cheer the audience.
MzGee and husband’s wedding video has sparked reactions online, with many drolling on the specialclip despite their split. While some are interested about the reasons for their separation, others have sent them a farewell and well wishes for their next endeavour.
