Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has broken his silence after being declared wanted by the police
Portable, who is currently on the police hunt was seen in a self-recorded video pleading for support from Nigerians, claiming that they should forgive him because he is not a troublemaker.
He emphasises that he is innocent, but people have always focused on his problems rather than what others think of him.
“Please, Nigerians, this is the moment when I need every one of you to help me. I am not a troublemaker; I don’t cause trouble, it’s people that look for my trouble. If I have done anything wrong to any of you, please forgive me” he states.

Earlier today, Ogun State police issued a statement labelling Portable as a fugitive after accusing him of assaulting officers.
In the statement, police revealed the names of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development personnel who the singer attacked: TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi.
Portable’s video pleading Nigerians over his police case and crime allegations have sparked mixed reactions online.
While some feel sorry for him and appeal with officials to spare him others believe he should face the law, considering his previous controversies and threats to colleagues and other high ranking officials in the country.
