Back in 2017, Samuel Inkoom, aged 28 at the time, encountered a one-year FIFA ban stemming from his participation in a 2014 transfer deal. In this deal, he was convicted of deceiving an agent.
FIFA mandated him to pay $65,000 to the creditor, Curtis Willet. Unfortunately, Inkoom did not meet his financial commitments to the agent following his transfer from the Ukrainian side Dnipro.
Surprisingly, Samuel Inkoom has not provided a response to the alleged fraud case, which has resulted in his being sought by law enforcement authorities. The situation remains unaddressed by the footballer at present.
Inkoom made his Black Stars debut against Tunisia on November 28, 2008, and retired in 2010.
His last appearance in Europe was with FC Torpedo Kutaisi in Georgia in 2022 with 25 appearances before joining Heart of Oak in 2023.
