A dramatic confrontation between police officers and a self-acclaimed fetish priest (traditional leader) in the Western Region ended with the suspect sustaining a gunshot wound to the hand after allegedly resisting arrest.

The palace messenger who was allegedly attacked also sustained injuries during the earlier altercation.
Both individuals are currently receiving medical attention, while law enforcement authorities continue investigations to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
