Popular Nigerian actor Obinna Nwafor best known in the movie industry as Saint Obi is dead.
The actor passed away last week Sunday in the home of one of his siblings, according to Tribune Online, but his family chose not announce his death in public for reasons best known to them.
According to the report, the actor had been suffering an undisclosed ailment for some time and had relocated to Jos, the Plateau State capital, for further treatment of the ailment that had kept him in and out of the hospital for over two years.
Even though his industry colleagues and friends have yet to speak out about Obi’s death, it was learned that the family informed them of the decision to remain silent in order to keep his death from the public.
The report also added that, Obi, who died at the age of 57, was spotted being transported to the hospital moments before his death
