Richard Nii Armah Quaye has donated food items and cash to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, ahead of this year’s Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
The kind gesture is intended to support the Chief Imam carry out his social and spiritual duties during the holy month of Ramadan.
Richard Quaye who is the founder of Bills Micro-Credit presented a cheque of ₵100,000 and items from his company to the Chief Imam to reaffirm their commitment to the Muslim community.
Other products he donated include Sankofa natural spices, Deedew spices, a bag of rice, cartons of cooking oil, packs of mineral water, soft drinks, and more.
Speaking at the Chief Imam’s palace, Richard Quaye detailed the reason for his donations, claiming to seek blessings from the Muslim leader as part of his birthday celebration honour.

“I said to myself that, i have to be here, lead the team, to come her and meet our grandfather to seek for blessings especially me as i turned 40, and also for the numerous businesses that we have here in Ghana and most part of the African continents…as you’ve been doing for us all these years” — he said.
