Sammy Flex, a Ghanaian media personality and manager of Shatta Wale has spoken out to clarify his involvement in the ongoing saga surrounding the house allegedly acquired by the dancehall artist for his mother, Madam Elsie Avemegah.
In a Facebook post dated December 5, 2024, Sammy Flex addressed the public, emphasizing that he never claimed Shatta Wale purchased the house for his mother.
Instead, he revealed that the property in question was rented, not bought, contrary to earlier reports circulating in the media.
Flex emphasizes how his initial comments were misinterpreted and misreported by various media outlets, leading to widespread misinformation.
He accused some portals of twisting his words to sensationalize the story and mislead the public.
Sammy Flex also supported the property’s landlord, who expressed displeasure over reports suggesting that the house had been sold to Madam Avemegah.
In a widely shared video, the landlord clarified that the property remained under his ownership, debunking claims of its purchase by Shatta Wale.
Flex addressed speculations surrounding the timing of the viral video, which coincided with Shatta Wale’s acquisition of a 2024 Rolls Royce Cullinan.
He refutes allegations that the house saga was orchestrated to distract from the celebratory news of Shatta Wale’s luxurious purchase. Instead, he insisted the timing was purely coincidental.
The controversy escalated after Madam Elsie Avemegah publicly demanded that Sammy Flex remove the announcement video from his YouTube channel.
Despite her stern request, Flex’s clarification aims to put the issue to rest while maintaining transparency about his role in the matter.
