Mark Okraku Mantey has said that Shatta Wale is fond of damaging or destroying the reputations of others in order to make money for himself.
This comes after the reggae-dancehall Musician poked Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture for blacklisting him from appearing in radio interviews as due to of their long-running feud.
Okraku Mantey speaking on Kessben FM was asked why Shatta Wale has been accusing him over the collapsed industry, as to which he replied, the singer always bring people down for him to make his money.

He noted that, Sarkodie and King Promise are not poor, but Shatta Wale, who has always claimed that he is rich, constantly criticises the industry’s top folks as failures.
He continue by saying that he had known Shatta since the beginning, before anyone else, and that the On God singer feed on damaged reputations of others.
Okraku further remarked that his goal is to develop policies and create an enabling environment for the Ghana music industry and creative arts, not to trend business.

He also added that the media, particularly journalists, were aware that certain people were interested in his position, but President Nana Akufo Addo decided that he was the best choice for the job.
